During the spring of 2012 the StreetArt agency acted as a production studio for Voskhod’s project, dedicated to the opening of Aziatage café in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Aziatage café opened on the 8th of March, the Day of the Dragon. Same day, a dragon made out of chopsticks was erected. For four hours persons interested could participate in its creation. All contributors received a pair of chopsticks; one chopstick had to go into a pre-made slot on the board, and the other one provided the participant with a 10% discount in Aziatage. As one put a chopstick in the slot, he was supposed to make a wish, as well. It should be noted that more than 10,000 chopsticks were used for this installation. When the dragon was completed it was mounted next to the main entrance of the new café to serve as an advertisement.
The Chopsticks Dragon installation received numerous awards at various advertising festivals.
